current research and development publications and invited talks past projects cv contact bbrel home	collaborator: Prof. David Herman, Ohio State University, Director of Project Narrative . our work will develop an approach to the building of narrative theory based on the computer-assisted analysis of digitized texts. specifically, by assessing the possibilities and limitations of corpus-analytic methods, we will evaluate the advantages of building foundations for narrative theory by starting with textual features that are computationally tractable and working up from there to an account of what narrative is and how it works.
